A3 – Chicago Public Arts Group contract amendment
Contract total $31,171. Approved 4-0.
A6 – Purchase order increase for We Got Game, LLC
Approved 4-0.
A8 – Emergency replacement of Civic Center boiler building staircases
Approved 4-0.
A9 – Purchase of electric forklift, one truck, one van and three SUVs
Approved 4-0, after considerable discussion about limited availability of electric vehicles.
A14 – Settlement of Martinez v. City of Evanston
Interim City Attorney Alex Ruggie says the city has spent roughly $640K of a budget of $1.25 million for legal claims. This adds $325K to that.
Insurance fund has a $2.1 million deficit at the moment.
Approved 4-0.
A17- Increasing ambulance fees and
A18 – Revising sanitation service charges
Reid complains that that these items didn’t go through the Referrals Committee process.
Ruggie says they were part of the budget proposal, so didn’t go to Referrals Committee, but Council could change that policy.
Approved 4-0.
