Here’s a recap of our live coverage of Monday evening’s meeting of the Evanston City Council Administration and Public Works Committee.

The meeting is scheduled to start at 5 p.m.

Minutes approved.

Ald. Jonathan Nieuwsma is chairing the meeting.

Also present, Alds. Clare Kelly, Krissie Harris and Devon Reid.

Ald. Bobby Burns is absent.

No public comment this evening

Consent agenda

Off consent: A3, A12-A17.

Rest of consent agenda approved.

A3 – Three fleet equipment purchases

Two of the three vehicles are all electric.

Kelly says a portion of the electric vehicle costs will be reimbursable by the federal government.

Approved.

A12-A17 – Liquor license items

Reid says liquor commission voted to decrease the liquor tax and proposed increasing the sales tax.

That hasn’t come before the committee yet. Apparently won’t for a while — public engagement first.

After various other questions from Reid, all the liquor license requests are approved.

Meeting adjourned at 5:13 pm.

There’s no Planning and Development Committee meeting tonight.

City Council to start as scheduled at 5:30 p.m.
