(Update 6:30 p.m. 6/27/18: Man has been located.) Evanston Police and an autistic man’s family are seeking the public’s help in locating him.

Xavier Watson, 20, walked away from his residence in the 800 block of Dobson Street about 2:10 p.m. today.

Watson is 6-feet tall and weighs 190 pounds. He was last seen wearing blue jean shorts and a rhinestone shirt.

Police say he is not familiar with the area and may be easily agitated. The family is concerned for his safety, and he is unable to take necessary medication while he is missing.

Update 6:30 a.m. 6/27/18:

Evanston police this morning say Watson was located by his family about 10:30 p.m.Tuesday in the area of Touhy Avenue and Clark Street in Chicago.

Evanston cetectives met with Watson and his family to verify his well being.
