Evanston Police report arresting three suspects in a robbery that happened shortly after 1 p.m. Saturday at 1900 Church St., outside Evanston Township High School.
The police say three teenagers, ranging in age from 14 to 15, told officers that three other teens approached them, asked for money and then began going through the victims’ pockets and removing their wallets.
The robbers fled on foot, and police later arrested three suspects in the case. Further information on the identity of the suspects wasn’t immediately available from police this afternoon.
