The Evanston Police Department is accepting applications to the Citizen Police Academy spring session to be held from Feb. 27 until May 22.

This interactive program is facilitated by Evanston officers and covers topics relating to the Evanston Police Department, giving participants a closer look at the Evanston Police Department and policing as it relates to Evanston.

Topics include crime investigation, traffic procedures, investigative tactics and more. The program lasts 13 weeks and meets Wednesday evenings 7-9:30 p.m. The spring session dates are: February 27 – May 22, 2019

The program is completely free and open to those that live and/or work in Evanston. The application along with more details can be found on the City of Evanston website.
