The Sherman Plaza space in downtown Evanston that until September was a Levi’s store will soon have a new tenant.

Fidelity Investments plans to open an office there.

Representatives of the firm are scheduled to appear before the city’s Design and Project Review Committee this afternoon seeking approval for slightly larger lettering on the proposed Fidelity sign on the building facade at 808 Church St. than is permitted by the plaza’s unified business center sign regulations

They’re also asking for approval to install a blade sign projecting from the facade, which is permitted elsewhere in the city, but not currently at Sherman Plaza.
