1100 Monroe
A package delivered to a home in the 1100 block of Monroe Street that contained two books and a set of ice cube trays was stolen between 11:40 a.m. and 4:40 p.m. yesterday.
Assault
1615 Benson
Henry L. Graham, 43, of 1458 Chicago Ave., was arrested at 1615 Benson Ave. at 6:15 p.m. yesterday and charged with assault. He is due in court on Nov. 20 at 10:30 a.m.
Battery
2485 Howard
Cecil L. Walford, 63, of 2002 Emerson St., was arrested at 2485 Howard St. at 10:01 p.m. yesterday and charged with battery. He is due in court on Nov. 15 at 10:30 a.m.

Patrick M. Kippes, 26, of 2636 W. Fitch Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 1101 Washington St. at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday and charged with reckless conduct. He is due in court on Nov. 22 at 10:30 a.m.
724 Custer
Eduardo M. Santana, 40, of 724 Custer Ave., was arrested at that address at 3:05 p.m. Tuesday and charged with unlawful use of a weapon. He was rearrested yesterday at 7:02 p.m. on the same charge.
911 Foster
Demetrius L. Shavers, 35, of 10000 Holly Lane, Des Plaines, was arrested at 911 Foster St. at 12:35 a.m. Tuesday and charged with obstructing identification. He is due in court on Dec. 6 at 9 a.m.
Traffic
1123 Howard
Theodore R. Thomas, 47, of 1009 Florence Ave., was arrested at 1123 Howard St. at 6:10 p.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on Nov. 20 at 9 a.m.
