Early voting starts Monday for the April 2 election which features contested races for the Evanston Township High School and Oakton Community College boards.

A forum for the four candidates running for three seats on the ETHS board is scheduled for 7 p.m. Wednesday in room N112 at the school, 1600 Dodge Ave.

Thirteen candidates are competing for three seats on the Oakton board.

For voters in the portion of south Evanston included in the Ridgeville Park District there’s also a four-way race for three seats on that board.

Three candidates are running unopposed for the Evanston District 65 school board.

There’s no contest in the election for three Lighthouse Park District board seats in northeast Evanston, but those voters will face a referendum question of whether the number of Park District commissioners should be reduced to five from seven.

Early voting is available at the Evanston Civic Center and 51 other locations around Cook County. A full list of locations and the hours they’ll be open is available online.
